Virginia State Capitol

The renovation and underground expansion of the Virginia State Capitol in 2007 included hand carving of Thomas Jefferson Quotes.

The carving work included V-groove letters of up to 12" carved in Jerusalem Limestone on-site, underground. The exterior carvings consisted of  7.625" tall numbers of the original construction and the renovation dedication dates.
